Airbus Foundation Visits Malawi

Malawi witnessed a historic day with the inaugural visit of the Airbus Foundation. The African Section 99s, in partnership with The Little Engineer and with the support of the Airbus Foundation, is leading a transformative initiative to foster aviation interest among young people through STEM education. This program focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to educate and inspire individuals aged 10 to 16 in various communities. Through this collaborative effort, the African Section 99s and the Airbus Foundation are providing a platform for youth to discover the captivating world of aviation. By incorporating STEM principles into their education, young minds are exposed to the practical applications of these subjects in a real-world context. This initiative serves not only to educate but also to ignite a passion for aviation in young people. By involving them in hands-on activities and workshops centered around aircraft design and engineering challenges, participants acquire valuable skills while sparking their curiosity about aerospace technology. The collaboration is geared towards reaching communities and schools across Africa, particularly those with limited access to such opportunities. Through dedicated efforts and partnerships with local organizations, this initiative aims to bridge educational disparities and inspire upcoming generations to pursue careers in aviation.
