I was born and raised in Nigeria. Even though I have a pilot father, aviation was never a first choice for me. I always wanted to be a doctor. As I prepared my mind to go to university, my dad came home talking about a female pilot he flew with and that immediately opened for me, my boxed up dreams of becoming a pilot like my dad. I set off in 2000 to flying school in South Africa (43 Air school) and despite its many challenges, I believe God helped me to succeed . I graduated the following year with my commercial licence and also got the privilege to fly with my dad as his copilot on the Dash – 8 aircraft. Now a Captain on the Boeing 737, I enjoy traveling and writing. I write to inspire the young generation to follow their dreams.
